Little Pandaria as a Business

Since our opening in late 2023, Little Pandaria has been the favourite tavern of many Stormwind locals, due to the services and facilities we are capable of providing, compared to other places within Stormwind.During this time, we have established ourselves as a friendly, community-driven hub for like-minded individuals to relax and mingle in an environment that is well looked after.We can assure you, the time spent within Little Pandaria will be free of the typical quirks and annoyances found within other taverns. Here, we strive to be the best and succeed at it!

Sohyonji's Philosophy

When I'm working in the tavern day after day, I never truly see this whole thing as a 'job' persay. My passion in life has always been catering to those who are in need of a delicious plate of food, or a good tankard of booze!I reflect these sentiments by making sure every patron who enters the tavern is made to feel welcome and not just treated like another number in our coffers.After all, half the job is making sure you have lasting relations with your patrons. It's nice being asked how your day's been, or how your most recent venture went.

Why should YOU work at Little Pandaria?Well, that question is quite simple, and in this section of our Business Page, I shall take the time and effort to go over the many nuances of working within Little Pandaria and why that will be a benefit to you!During your time with Little Pandaria, depending on the role you choose, you will be able to learn a wealth of knowledge from myself and our senior members of the team, teaching you the ins and outs of how to work your role and do it efficiently!Within Little Pandaria, we offer a variety of distinct roles within the tavern, each of whom play an integral role in keeping Little Pandaria functioning as intended. (As you read further on down this article, you will be able to find sections dedicated to the roles.)Alongside this wealth of knowledge, you will also have access to a set of glamourous Staff Benefits, such as free food & drink during your shift, flexible holiday days and your very own private quarters within the Staff Hall in our Inn, which is located on the upper level of the tavern.

The Benefits

Like stated above previous, members of staff working within Little Pandaria will gain access to a variety of luxurious benefits during their time with us!Below, you'll be able to gain a bit of insight into each benefit and how it works.Staff Living Quarters
During your time at Little Pandaria, if you are low on coin, or live a great distance away from the tavern, we are able to offer you a wonderful room within our very own Staff Suite on the upper floor of the tavern.Whilst these rooms aren't the largest, they are fitted with all the necessary luxuries one would need for a comfortable and cosy living space.Free Food & Drinks
Sohyonji understands that working in the tavern can be hard, intensive work at times. So, in order to pay her staff back (aside from ACTUALLY paying them, of course), she takes the time and effort to cater to their dietary needs, allowing them to order anything off the menu within reason.

Bartender

When working as a Bartender within Little Pandaria, those chosen to lead such a role are expected to be able to stay cool, calm and collected during busy periods within the tavern, alongside keeping their temper in-check when dealing with more 'undesirable' patrons within the tavern.Alongside this, our bartenders are expected to work their role with a cheery and positive attitude, making sure all patrons they serve are left feeling satisfied with their time in our tavern. After all, poor service means that our patrons will look elsewhere for their fill of booze and food, and ideally... We don't want that happening.Desired Skills- Customer Service Experience

Uniform

Chef

Being hailed as one of the best food providers within Stormwind, when working as a Chef in Little Pandaria, your attention to detail and personal judgement needs to be sharp, efficient and straight to the point. Our existing chefs are known for their efficiency and quick-wittedness during busy periods.Alongside this, in order to make sure that everything that comes out of the kitchen is up to scratch, Sohyonji actively encourages her chefs to taste-test their meals (in moderation, of course), in order to ensure only the pinnacle of cuisine is being delivered to our patrons.Desired Skills- Technical Skills

Uniform

Unlike the other roles within the Tavern, Bouncers are kitted out with a uniform that is more suited towards their role. Due to this, a background check will be conducted on the individual in order to verify that they can be trusted with the allotted equipment.Further to this point, due to some 'issues' in the past, the weapons listed here are ones that are deemed ' suitable' and 'non-lethal' by the local authority.Desired Uniform- Little Pandaria Tabard

Bouncer

The stalwart defenders of Little Pandaria, the bouncers constantly assure that the tavern is a warm and welcoming place for our staff and patrons, making sure that any disruptions or unruly patrons are swiftly dealt with in a profession and non-violent method.There are plenty other taverns within Stormwind who would permit such behaviour with disrespectful and unruly patrons, but Little Pandaria wishes to set the golden standard for how a Tavern should be effectively ran.Desired Skills- Physical Fitness

The life of the atmosphere within the Tavern, the Bard's role is integral to keeping the ambiance within the tavern to an acceptable level, giving our patrons something to enjoy alongside the food and drinks we provide.Alongside this, working as a Bard within Little Pandaria may allow you to be given more exciting opportunities in the future, as we have a wide selections of guests and patrons entering our tavern, some of whom may be hosting events or gatherings and call upon your aid to perform at their events.Desired Skills- Musical Talent

Crier

Despite Sohyonji typically being the driving force behind the advertising of the Tavern, her booming voice cannot reach every corner of Stormwind. In order to remedy this, Sohyonji will call upon the aid of her Crier's to get the message across, no matter where they may be in Stormwind.During a Criers typical route around Stormwind, Sohyonji will expect them to not only give out up-to-date and relevant information about the tavern itself, but entice members of the general public into the tavern through the means of free samples, allowing those who might not typically venture into the tavern a taste of true culinary expertise.Desired Skills- Creativity

Cleaner

When working as a Cleaner within Little Pandaria, those chosen to lead such a role are expected to have a good eye for detail, alongside a constant drive to keep our wonderful tavern clean of any spillages, general mess, or whatever else our patrons may bring in with them.Alongside this, our Cleaners will be expected to conduct regular Room Service checks within our Inn, making sure that patrons arriving and leaving are being met with sanitary standards that reflect the prestige of the establishment.Desired Skills- Attention to Detail
